Seasonal shapes are a design lineage, not a sale banner. Bakeries, chocolate makers and gift programs buy them on the same calendar: a Western holiday range is specified 6-9 months ahead, and the Islamic calendar moves the window for Ramadan and Eid. This page collects where those shapes already sit in our catalog and what can be tooled for a theme we do not list yet.
Christmas
Tree, star, snowflake, Santa and reindeer cavities across molded cakes, chocolate and sugar paste. In catalog now: the Christmas tree detail mold and the four-piece plastic stamp set. Retail programs usually take the two together – one for the bake, one for the decoration on top of it.
Easter
Bunny, egg, chick and basket formats for chocolate and molded sponge. Easter is the second window where a novelty cavity earns its tooling cost, and it consolidates with the Christmas range on one purchase order if you plan both a season ahead.
Halloween
Pumpkin, skull, bat and ghost shapes for chocolate, jelly and cake. The shape library exists; new faces are tooled from artwork, which is how a retailer builds a range nobody else is carrying that October.
Valentine’s Day
Hearts in both molded and flat formats, plus the script and topper work that finishes a Valentine’s cake: see the Mr & Mrs topper, which moves from weddings into this window without a change of tooling.
Thanksgiving
Turkey, pie and pumpkin formats for the Thanksgiving window, where the buyer is usually a grocery program or a bakery restocking for a single high-volume month rather than a gift season. The pie-plate and turkey forms share tooling with our harvest range, so a program running both windows can order them off one die set instead of two.
Harvest & Autumn
Leaf, acorn, gourd and wheat-sheaf cavities for the autumn season that runs from September through November – the window where a home-goods or grocery buyer wants shapes that read as autumn rather than as one holiday. These are the shapes that stay on a shelf after Thanksgiving is over, which is what makes them worth tooling.
Ramadan & Eid
Crescent, star, lantern and geometric cavities for date sweets, cookies and molded desserts served through the fasting month and at Eid. This is where we add the most value and where Western catalogs are thinnest: the shapes are not a re-cut of a Christmas tool, so they are developed from reference rather than picked from a page. If you are building an Eid range, send the forms you need and we will quote tooling against them.
Classic & Everyday
Not every cavity belongs to a season. This is the standing range – plain rounds, squares, loaf and bar formats, hearts and standard stars – the shapes that sell every month and carry the bulk of a wholesale order. Seasonal tooling is what wins a shelf date; classic tooling is what keeps the container full. If you are building a first order this is usually where we start, because it is also the group with no sampling risk: the dies already exist and only the colour and the packaging are open.
How to Buy This Page
Everything listed here lives in its own category – baking molds and pans, chocolate, candy and ice molds, cake decorating – and keeps its own product page. This is a way to see the range by occasion, not a second copy of it. Custom shapes across all six themes go through the same route on the Private Label & OEM page: logo, color, packaging, then tooling.
FAQ
How far ahead should a seasonal order be placed?
Six to nine months for retail shelf dates. A new cavity adds 10-15 days of sampling and 15-25 days of bulk after sign-off, so a Christmas shelf program starts as a conversation in the first quarter.
Can you develop a shape your catalog does not have?
Yes – that is the normal case for Ramadan and Eid forms and for a retailer wanting a range nobody else lists. Send reference images or a physical sample and we return a mold proposal before any steel is cut.
Tell us the theme, the shelf date and the quantity. We reply within 1 business day with what is in the library and what needs tooling.
