A blueberry is a sphere with a star pressed into its crown — the calyx, the scar the fruit keeps from the stem. Take that star away and the piece reads as a plain ball and nothing more. Six spheres per tray at 6 cm, molded solid rather than hollow, so each one leaves the mold as a finished dessert dome instead of a shell waiting to be filled.
Specifications, certifications, and OEM capabilities organized for fast procurement decisions.
Platinum-cured, food-grade silicone rated -40°C to 230°C, so one tray runs freezer, oven, microwave and top-rack dishwasher without the crown softening or the star detail rounding out across a season of service. Six cavities sit on a 23 × 16.2 cm frame that fits a standard half-sheet pan, each molding a solid 6 cm sphere with the calyx pressed into its top face. The wall thickness is held even across the dome so the tray cools at one rate and releases cleanly from a thumb-press rather than a twist. Our China factory runs this product from tooling through molding to final QC on one floor.
Against the 6-cavity raspberry mold, the difference is the core: that one is hollow, tooled as a shell to take a fruit insert after demoulding, while this one molds solid and comes out complete. That single change sets the two apart in the kitchen. A hollow shell rewards a cold, careful pour and a chilled release; a solid sphere takes a warmer mix, tolerates a faster turnaround, and turns out a piece that needs no filling to read as finished. Both trays share the same 23 × 16.2 cm frame, so a shop can run a berry and a citrus motif on one colour, one storage stack and one material order.
The star is the detail the mold asks you to protect. Overfill the cavity and a warm mix runs over the crown and softens the points; a batter that is under-mixed traps air at the calyx and leaves it pitted the moment the piece releases. Let the tray cool before turning out — a solid sphere holds far more heat than a thin shell and slumps if it is pushed out too early. Clean with warm water and a soft brush, no blade and no scouring pad, and stack the trays in storage rather than flexing them.

Silicone tooling is where our own mold shop matters: the cavity, the parting line and the draft angle decide whether a mold releases cleanly for two thousand cycles or two hundred.
Trusted by businesses across the food, craft, and retail industries worldwide.
Six sold-out spheres per fill, plated whole as a single-portion mousse, a cream dome or an entremet that carries its own garnish.
Tempered chocolate turns out with the calyx crisp enough to read through a cocoa-dusted finish, and the solid core leaves room for a piped centre.
Solid spheres release from a cooled tray without a torch or a hot-water dip, which keeps a 60-cover dessert course moving at the pass.
Your Pantone colour, a logo molded into the frame, and retail packaging built around the tray for gifting and seasonal aisles.
LFGB, FDA, SGS, REACH — certificate documents available on request for your compliance review.
What buyers ask before committing to a silicone mold program.
Similar release behavior, similar reorder cycle.
Same frame and finish in a hollow-centred berry built to take a filling.
