This is the compliance summary buyers ask for before a first order: which standards our food-contact lines are tested against, what is checked during production, which documents we can hand over, and what we will not claim. Product pages carry only the three or four items relevant to each material; the full picture lives here so it is stated once rather than repeated on every page.
Standards We Test Against
LFGB – German food-contact testing, and the document EU importers ask for first. FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 – US food-contact compliance for elastomer and plastic articles. SGS – independent third-party laboratory reports covering migration, heavy metals and phthalates. ISO 9001:2015 – the quality management system our process runs under. FSC – chain-of-custody paper and board for cartons, cake boards and hang cards. RoHS – EU 2015/863 restricted-substance declaration for metal components. REACH – EU chemical position on substances of very high concern. Applicability is per item and per material; a plastic cutter is not covered by the same scope as a silicone mold, and we say which applies on the quote.
What Actually Gets Checked
Incoming material is verified against the declared compound or sheet specification before it enters production. In-line checks cover cavity fill, flash, wall thickness and, on cutters, edge geometry. Final random inspection is run to an agreed acceptance level before packing. On silicone lines the batch set typically includes food-contact migration, tensile strength and temperature cycling between -40 C and 230 C, plus dishwasher and oven cycle checks on a sample from the run. Metal bakeware is checked for gauge, rim construction and coating adhesion, because those are the three things that fail in a commercial kitchen.
Documents Available on Request
Material declarations for every food-contact part, third-party test reports for the item and batch in question, FSC chain-of-custody references where paper is specified, and the packing and carton documentation your forwarder needs. Send the item and the destination market and we confirm which documents exist for that combination before you commit, rather than after a purchase order.
Audits and Trials
Remote and on-site audits are both welcome, and tooling, compound batch records and test files sit on the floor you would visit. Standard designs sample free with freight collected, shipping in 3 to 5 business days; a new cavity samples in 10 to 15 days after drawing confirmation. Trial orders start at 50 pcs per design on existing tooling and 100 pcs per design on a new one, then step through volume bands at 500, 1,000 and 5,000 pieces.
Trade Terms
Payment by T/T or L/C at sight. Delivery quoted EXW, FOB (Shenzhen or Ningbo) or CIF, by sea, air or express through forwarders we already use into your region. Standard production lead time is 15 to 25 days after the sample and packaging artwork are signed off. We do not publish list prices: a figure without quantity, tooling and destination is not a quote, it is a guess.
What We Do Not Do
We do not claim a certification an item does not carry, we do not publish test scores we cannot produce a report for, and we do not take kitchen-inappropriate projects into this factory’s scope.
