A coffee bean is an oval with one line through it. Take the crease away and you are pouring a plain chocolate egg; put it back and the piece reads as a bean from across the room. That single groove is the whole design, and it is the first thing a cheap mold loses — the seam fills in, softens, and the finished bonbon turns into a smooth pebble. We cut the crease into the cavity wall so it comes out on every piece, six at a time, in platinum-cured silicone that holds the line through freezer-to-oven cycles.
Specifications, certifications, and OEM capabilities organized for fast procurement decisions.
Six oval cavities on one tray, each molding a bean with its centre crease formed in place rather than scored in afterwards. Platinum-cured, food-grade silicone rated -40°C to 230°C, so one tray moves between blast freezer, oven, microwave and top-rack dishwasher without the crease rounding out or the oval walls going slack. The cavities sit in a 3 × 2 layout on a flat frame with corner locating holes, which lets the tray drop onto a standard sheet pan or wire rack and stay put instead of sliding when it is moved full. Made factory-direct in our own plant: tooling, production and QC under one roof.
The tray is made in two versions, and the choice is about throughput rather than quality. The solid version is a single moulded block — heavier, stiffer, and the one to pick when trays are lifted in and out of a blast freezer by hand all day. The perforated version carries the same six cavities in a thin framed plate with four corner holes; it weighs far less, stacks flat between services, and is the format most pastry kitchens order when they are running dozens of trays at once. Both take the same recipe and produce the same bean.
The crease is the detail that punishes sloppy handling. Overfill the cavity and a warm mix floods the groove and blunts it; a batter that is under-mixed traps air against the mould and leaves the line pitted as the piece releases; and a bean turned out while the tray is still warm tears along the seam, because that is the thinnest part of the shell. Let the tray cool, flex it from the underside, and work each piece out from its centre. Warm water and a soft brush only — no blade and no scouring pad — and store the trays stacked rather than folded, so the oval walls keep their shape for the next run.

Silicone tooling is where our own mold shop matters: the cavity, the parting line and the draft angle decide whether a mold releases cleanly for two thousand cycles or two hundred.
Trusted by businesses across the food, craft, and retail industries worldwide.
Six identical beans per fill, sprayed velvet or glazed and plated as a single-portion mousse that carries its own garnish without a separate base.
Tempered chocolate turns out with the crease crisp enough to read under a mirror glaze, and the oval shape leaves room for a piped centre.
The same cavities take hard candy, gummies and fondant — one mold covers a confectionery line and a gift range without a second tooling order.
Your Pantone colour, a logo molded into the frame, and retail packaging designed around the tray for coffee shops and gift aisles.
LFGB, FDA, SGS, REACH — certificate documents available on request for your compliance review.
