Grey board is pressed to a fixed caliper and laminated both faces with food-safe paper, so fondant and buttercream release cleanly and the visible edge reads as part of the presentation rather than as packaging. Gold, silver and white are stocked; printed and Pantone-matched surfaces are a per-order finish. Diameter and thickness are set to your cake sizes rather than to a stock ladder, and heavier grades are available for drums that carry a full tier above them.

Boards are room-temperature and refrigeration items, not oven components, and they are not designed to be washed and reused the way our molded lines are - in most kitchens they are consumed stock, priced accordingly. What is negotiable is the combination: which diameters, how many of each, whether the set ships as a matched combo or as separate per-size cartons for your DC. FSC chain-of-custody paper is available where a retailer requires it.

Board work is decided before any print: grade, caliper and lamination carry the weight, and the print is the finish on top of that structure.
